What do you think about the next generation of Gaming, will it be vastly different from today's games? will they be played the same {consoles}? Will they make huge profits?

For some reason whenever I think about the next generation of gaming, I think about virtual characters where you feel like your actually in the game.

As long as they don't go all SAO, ./Hack, or Log Horizon on us xD

For now I think they are starting to expand and cover more then just one genre.
Like moving awhile from straight shooters (Ex: Titanfall or Planetside),
well there's still room for BF and Killzone (obv), and I guess CoD

The worlds and tricks are getting fancy, but we all like gaming for one thing or another
so there's no reason to go reinventing the wheel just yet, though I can't wait for VR-Mmo's either xD
